Who?
For the cover of my magazine I plan to use someone else as my model. I would like to use one of my friends, I think it would be easier to work with someone I feel comfortable around and have a comfortable friendship with as it will be more enjoyable and I will be more open talking about my opinions with them.
Where?
There are many places around college that would be suitable locations, for the most part there are lots of natural places across the school field and outside Glanford on the road side of the building. However there are places inside of the buildings too, many with plain backdrops that would make adding writing to the cover of the magazine easier. I think the best idea would be to try taking a range of photos in a few different locations and deciding afterwards on the best quality photograph for the cover.
Costume?
As this is the college magazine cover, I think that I would rather my model(s) wear anything they felt comfortable in, or something they would wear on an average day to college in an attempt to represent the accurate image of life at sixth form, be that causal or slightly more smart. As long as the model is satisfied with what they are wearing and comfortable in front of the camera, I will be happy with whatever they choose. Makeup will also be included in this sense, if my model chooses to wear makeup, I will be happy with whatever they feel comfortable in as it reflects their attitude towards college and will represent how life really is as a college student.
Props?
The only props that I think would be used, if any, would be folders, school bags, books etc. Most students will have those on an average day but if not I will be bringing some myself to use in the photographs if they will add effect.
